Catching up...if that's possible! (Part 1)

Playing catch up...that seems to be the story of our lives these days. Whether it's work, cleaning, running errands, updating the blog, or playing with the kids, there is never a dull moment and few moments to stop and just catch your breath! So unfortunately the blog has definitely been neglected these past few months so I thought I'd throw several, okay, a lot, of pictures together in these next two posts to see what we've been up to and how much these two kiddos have grown.

Addie is 4 months now and 12 whole pounds! She may be small, but she is quite the talker and loud when she really gets going. The apple doesn't fall from the tree with this little lady! Maddux is talking more and more every day and his vocabulary is forever expanding. Most days I'm in awe of what comes out of his mouth...not always a good awe, but nevertheless, in awe! :) Both kiddos are having a blast so far this summer and Matt and I are loving every minute with them!

Our first trip to the Children's Museum
In pure heaven...he LOVES tractors

Rocking out with the "band" at the Children's Museum

He's such a hugger!

His face says it all...he was not a fan!

"Blanket party"...whenever Addie is on the floor...her big brother has to be right by her
Snuggle time with Aunt Sam

Blanket Party with Papa
The day of the Indy 500 we had a Stealth Bomber fly over our house several times and Maddux became it's number #1 fan. He struggled saying it at first, so he referred to it as the "f-f-f-farmer", but now he can pronounce it much better...but I have to admit, "f-f-f-farmer" was pretty stinkin' cute!
Enjoying some dinner on the deck
Bath time and a very happy baby!
The three Kettlebar men
4 months
A face of pure innocence

WOW...can we say bedhead?
Addie's first experience with cereal! She did very well the first time and has struggled a bit since...but she's getting the hang of it
And of course, Maddux couldn't miss one second of it
Tummy time

Hollywood bound!

Some day he'll figure out they go the other way!
