Maddux Being Maddux!

9 months...I know a little late! :)

I've finally turned 9 months old! Every month I keep growing and developing and my personality just keeps getting bigger and bigger! One thing that I love to do is GRAB EVERYTHING...especially mom's glasses. Sometimes she'll let me wear them for a few seconds...I'm sure glasses are in my future with the family genes that I have!

As I get older, I really like to try and be involved in everything that mom and dad are doing...I just want to help! I tried to help mom wrap Christmas presents, but I kept laughing, that wrapping paper was just cracking me up!

I realized it would just be better if I let mom do it, so I figured I better just play with my toys!

Because my dad is a teacher, him and I were home for 2 whole weeks together over Christmas. We became very big fans of taking a nap together each day!

I love the refrigerator! Everytime I hear the door open, I race over to it as fast as I can...if only I could reach some of those things!

Maybe if I smile big enough, mom will just give me some of those things to play with!

I've also tried to lend a helping hand with folding laundry. Mom gave me some things to work with and I tried to watch her to see how to do it, but it was a little over my head...

...I worked and worked at it....

...but could't get it, so instead mom and I just put them on my head!

Just being me! I love to laugh....who doesn't!

Mom always tells me that she couldn't have been blessed with a happier baby. I love life! I'm always happy and always smiling! I'm even happy when I'm sick! I know I make mom and dad's day when they see my smile!

I'm starting to "wander" around the house a bit now! I'm not crawling yet, but I'm rocking on my hands and knees and would love nothing more than to move around! Sometimes, I get stuck under my toys...how'd I even get here???

My "pre-crawl" position....I've started to go backwards...just can't quite figure out how to go forwards!

You might think that I'm mad here, but I'm just talking and yelling....this is what I do best...just Maddux being Maddux!

At 9 months there are a lot of words that describe me....very happy, always smiling, mouth ALWAYS open, tongue usually out, a finger or two in my mouth, very inquisitive, definitely want to be in the middle of whatever is going on, enjoying "adult" food, great sleeper, huge eyes, an even bigger mouth, and very, very loud (wonder where I get that)...I love to yell, not in a mad way, but a happy way, I can be heard all over the house, and I make many different facial expressions and sounds! I'm becoming quite the little man, and I know I'm entertaining mom and dad every step of the way!
