Odds and Ends...

Well, I think I'm finally caught up in the blog world...just in time to get read for the Christmas posts! These pictures encompass life around the house and a few shots from Thanksgiving...we didn't do a good job of capturing Thanksgiving this year...hopefully Christmas will be better! You will see from these pictures that Addison is on the move and loves pulling herself up...it's just a matter of time before she's walking...can't believe it!

Can't get enough of this little one...

Profile pictures are simply the best...seriously those cheeks are ridiculous

Not quite sure if you fit buddy!

Make a wish!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Maddux is obsessed with this cookie jar and was thrilled that it was finally time to bring it up from the basement

Standing up against EVERYTHING...she loves to be standing...

...even though it often annoys her brother when she uses his chair to support her

I love how when I kiss her cheek and ear, she leans in to let me know she doesn't want me to stop...some day she will!

One of her favorite positions...upside down

On rare occassions, her brother shares his tv chair...or maybe he just didn't realize she was borrowing it

Snuggle bug...she is definitely our snuggler...she loves to nuzzle her face into your neck...both daddy and I LOVE that!

Craft time - we had to decorate presents for school

Love those big eyes!

Trick-or-Treat

Our first trick-or-treat as a family of four...and we wouldn't have it any other way. Daddy picked out their costumes this year...and I must say he did amazing! Our little ND football player and cheerleader had a great time and Maddux did a fantastic job of walking up to every house and politely saying "trick-or-treat" and "thank you"...made his momma very proud. For most kids, Halloween is all about the candy; however, for this little boy, his highlight was definitely the firetruck. Those fireman that drove through and handed out candy made his night!

For those of you "true" football players or fan...you will definitely appreciate his cleats...yes...they are spatted...would we have it any other way???

We barely made it in the door before they started rummaging through the goods

Regardless of how miserable she felt because of teething and snotty nose...give a girl some chocolate and she is all smiles!

Pumpkin Patch

Time for the pumpkin patch! We started a tradition Maddux's first Halloween to go visit the Stonycreek Farm in Noblesville. Each year Maddux gets to ride a horse, run around in the hay, ride the pumpkin train, and most importantly, pick out the perfect pumpkins to take home. This year was no different...EXCEPT...we added Addie-Bear to the tradition...and she loved it too!

The infamous pumpkin train...he could ride this for hours

Addie was a trooper...she definitely wasn't sure about it...but we got a few smiles out of her

We were walking through the farm and we hear a little voice yelling, "Maddux"...and we turn around and his little friend from school, Avery, came running over to give him a hug. It is amazing how at a such a young age, they understand friendship...sometimes better than adults!

Smiles from our Bears!

Maddux loved his horse this year...his name was Sundance...and we heard about Sundance for days!

Soaking in the moment

Who actually would crawl through these big tires when you can walk on them???

This year they added these incredibly fast slides that started at the top of the hill and went into the ground and spit you out at the bottom. Maddux and I grabbed our burlap bag and slid down numerous times...he kept saying, "Just one more time mom!"

A kid in heaven!

Break time

On our way to pick out our pumpkins....

...and we picked the cutest one!

where did the time go....

Clearly time has gotten away from me...again! With some much needed time off of work, I WILL get caught up this weekend! :) This post is already outdated before I even finish it, as the kids have grown a lot since September and October...but there were still some moments that I couldn't resist sharing! ENJOY!

Book time with daddy

Some use a spoon for their yogurt, Maddux drinks his....

Surfs up dude!

Snuggle time with daddy

PB & J in the "baby highchair"...sometimes we need to do what Addie does

Aggressive? No...not our kids!

Pucker up Ernie!

"Seepy Bear"

Priceless

One of my absolute favorites

Sure they can both fit in one swing...at least for now

Maddux is giving his Pig from Toy Story a timeout...wonder what he did?

Brotherly-sisterly love

Must be a good movie

First time in the swing

Can't believe how old he is looking these days!

Cuddle time

Maddux and Daddy's first catch...

...and you have to let them go back to their home sometimes...

...but not without a kiss first!

A visit with Papa Hursey at the firehouse...think anyone is excited?

Future fireman

Sitting up all alone.....where did the time go??? Wasn't she just born?
