Priceless Photos!

As a parent, you are always taking hundreds of photos in an attempt to capture all of the wonderful memories that you're making as a family. You usually love all of the photos because they are of your family; however, you occassionally run across a few here and there that stop you and you can't believe how blessed you are to have this wonderful little person in your life! The innocence in their eyes and the unconditional love in their smile literally melt your heart. And though we cannot hold onto them forever, we will always have pictures to take us back to that special moment! Here are two of those moments for me...

Summer is Here and It's Time for the Pool!

Summer is definitely here and the clubhouse pool isn't open until Memorial Day, so we got out the baby pool, lubed up with 75 spf, and jumped in! (That's right 75 spf...nothing is getting through that stuff!) Maddux was a little hesitant at first, but warmed up to the pool quickly! Splashing and drinking the water were two of his favorites!

Trip to Goshen!

We went up to Goshen in May to celebrate Grandma Kettlebar's retirement...40 years of teaching...we are so very proud of her!

Maddux was loving the retirement party because it was at the elementary school that Grandma taught at and he could run and run and run...notice he wasn't particularly found of sitting still for the picture!

In the midst of running the hallways!

Grandma gave him a basketball to play with...obviously mom needs to do some teaching as to what we're supposed to do with the basketball!

I think he's a basketball fan now!

The next day we went to a soccer game with Grandpa and Grandma Morris...Maddux was getting a little bored, so Grandpa and him went for a little stroll!

Grandpa was so nice and gave up his chair for Maddux...though he didn't sit long!

We had a great time visiting our family and friends in Goshen. It always goes by way too fast!
