Here I come, ready or not...

Here I come, ready or not! With two children, growing way too fast, this seems to be the theme right now, whether I like it or not! They are both growing uncontrollably and it doesn't seem to matter that I'm not quite ready! We went up to Matt's parents house and Maddux was extremely skittish about getting in the water. I, of course, did not come prepared to get in the water, but that didn't matter to Maddux, he didn't want to get in unless mommy got in. So, fully dressed, I jumped in and literally wasn't even all the way in before he just jumped in, without a fear in his bones. We quickly realized that he had done a complete 180. Not only was he no longer scared, he didn't really care if you were there to catch him or not, he was ready to go....so "here I come, ready or not" you better catch me! He had a blast and mom got quite the workout! It's amazing how his fear was so quickly removed and I realized that he knew right away that no matter what, I would be there...amazing what a 2 year old can acknowledge! I love that at 2 years old, he already knows that I will always be there for him...no matter what!

If all of that wasn't enough, Miss Addie started using her walker! She doesn't move all around quite yet, but she slowly makes her way from one spot to another! She has also started rolling over completely on her own and even though she starts on her back at night, most mornings she is sleeping on her belly! She has also gotten very loud...wow! We thought Maddux was loud, but she can out do him any day of the week and twice on Sunday! I told Matt, just wait until she's a teenager...he didn't even want to go there! I do fear she has a rude awakening coming in about 3 weeks because she LOVES to be held, complete opposite of Maddux, and I know that daycare will not be able to hold near as much as what momma does! I know she'll adjust, but I'd give anything to be there and just hold her all day! She is such a snuggler and it doesn't matter how upset she is, as soon as you pick her up, she is filled with happiness and she gets the biggest smile on her face to prove it...it melts my heart every time!

As always, it's been a joy to watch them grow over the last month...if only I could figure out a way to slow them down...just a pinch!

Muscle man!
Brotherly-sisterly love...can't wait to show them this when they are in high school
Watch tv much?
She is her father's daughter....
...and he is his father's son!

Addie thought the pool was much nicer from the sidelines on Dawn's lap!

Wow...can we say cheese ball?

A little time with dad is sometimes just the cure for fussiness!

Can a smile get much bigger?
I think we are starting to teeth a little...wonder how I know?
So when I ran across this picture, I couldn't believe how old he looks...it kills me!
Bubble time with Papa....can't get enough of the bubbles
Trying really hard to catch the bubbles...if only they didn't go so high so fast
Play-doh time....and Addie just admiring her big bro

Slowly but surely learning how to become mobile

A face of pure happiness!
