Can you believe that I'm already 4 months old....I'll be driving before you know it!

Wow, I can't believe that I'm already 4 months old. During this last month, I've really started to grow up and develop my own little personality. I am also starting to do things that I never knew were possible. Here I'm actually standing on the front bumper of a fire truck...can you believe it?? I was in awe too...as you can tell from my expression!

Then mom took me inside the truck....it was so cool...maybe someday I'll be a fireman!

Before we left the firehouse, I got a picture with Grandma and Craig...Craig is a fireman so that's how we got the inside look at the life of a fireman!

Sometimes there is nothing better than a Sunday afternoon nap with mom...

As you can see, I'm getting really strong and can prop myself up, which has really come in handy so I can watch tv...as I am doing now! Play with mom?? Nah...not when I can watch TV!

Okay mom, here ya go...snap one quick before the commerical is over!

It's offical, I'm a thumb sucker. I can't keep a pacifier in my mouth, so I have to do what works for me!

I'm really starting to enjoy my exersaucer...if I only I knew what to do with all of this stuff!
During my mom's pregnancy with me, she became addicted to two things....Pine-Sol and popsicles. She was hoping those addictions would go away after I was born, but they didn't. She hasn't shared any Pine-Sol with me...thank goodness...but she has started to share her popsicles. They are really, really cold, but oh so good!

Since I don't like pacifiers, I often try and use my mom's chin as a pacifier...

I am really loving bathtime...my new thing is to suck on a wet washcloth while I bathe....life doesn't get much better.

Here I am in my bumbo seat...mom got me this tray so that I can play with my toys. I'm starting to be able to see different objects and actually pick them up....and of course bring them to my mouth...everything has to pass the taste test!

Unfortunately, turning 4 months old means more shots! I'm not going to lie, they hurt pretty bad. But mom did buy me some new clothes for being such a trooper...I didn't have the heart to tell her that clothes don't really excite me that much...I think it was more of a present for her...but I let it go this time...it was the thought that counted...and dad filled her in for me! :)
After my shots, I was not very happy and exhausted...there was only one person that I wanted...my MOM!!! No one else would do!

After I fell asleep, mom was finally able to put me in my crib...but I didn't stay for long...I just wanted her to hold me...I don't think it bothered her...she loves to cuddle!

Another milestone this month was rice cereal. After my shots, Dr. Davis said I get to start cereal. All I have to say is good thing mom was there, because my daddy actually thought that meant I could have Cheerios...I don't have any teeth, but dad wants me to master eating Cheerios. He didn't know they made special cereal for babies...thank goodness mom did.

Mom started my cereal and then handed the reigns over to dad...he did a pretty good job for a first-timer! We were both new at this, so who was I to find any fault?

I know I look grumpy here, but cut me some slack, shots and cereal all in one day....and I had an audience....the pressure was on!

Is this stuff supposed to be all over my face??

Hey guys...anyone want to play? I'm finally starting to reach out and grab things on my exersaucer, and I press the buttons to play music. This thing is awesome!
Anyone ready for a game...I think the Cubs could use some help! (Don't tell daddy I said that!)
Another development this month is my new blankie...aka Lovebug. Dad and mom had a dog before I was born named Gunny and mom called him Lovebug. He was their first love...until I arrived of course. Unfortunately, they had to put him to sleep before I was born so I never got to meet him, but he's still a big brother to me and I know he watches over me. So, we decided to name my doggie blanket "Lovebug" and I always need him...he's my new bestest friend!

Other babies?? Friends???? Who knew that other babies were out there. I love this. I got to hang out with some friends for the first time...and was actually aware of them being there. This is Ben Kooi here...he's a little older than me, but he was pretty cool! I'm going to be starting daycare in 2 weeks, so I'm thinking that I'm going to be making a lot of new friends very soon!

Here I am with Ben and Camryn....I think they might be getting to rumble! :) Camryn helped mom and dad change my diaper and she loved putting my pacifier in my mouth and taking it back out...I'm pretty sure we did that for 5 minutes straight! :)

All in all, turning 4 months has been incredible. I had a lot of firsts this month and I loved them all and I can't wait for many more! My life is great so far...and I think my smiles prove it!
