Time for the pumpkin patch! We started a tradition Maddux's first Halloween to go visit the Stonycreek Farm in Noblesville. Each year Maddux gets to ride a horse, run around in the hay, ride the pumpkin train, and most importantly, pick out the perfect pumpkins to take home. This year was no different...EXCEPT...we added Addie-Bear to the tradition...and she loved it too!
The infamous pumpkin train...he could ride this for hours
Addie was a trooper...she definitely wasn't sure about it...but we got a few smiles out of her
We were walking through the farm and we hear a little voice yelling, "Maddux"...and we turn around and his little friend from school, Avery, came running over to give him a hug. It is amazing how at a such a young age, they understand friendship...sometimes better than adults!
Smiles from our Bears!
Maddux loved his horse this year...his name was Sundance...and we heard about Sundance for days!
Soaking in the moment
Who actually would crawl through these big tires when you can walk on them???
This year they added these incredibly fast slides that started at the top of the hill and went into the ground and spit you out at the bottom. Maddux and I grabbed our burlap bag and slid down numerous times...he kept saying, "Just one more time mom!"
A kid in heaven!
Break time
On our way to pick out our pumpkins....
...and we picked the cutest one!
